Echocardiogram
An echocardiogram is a noninvasive ultrasound examination of the heart. It allows us to evaluate heart function, heart valves, chamber size, blood flow, and other structural abnormalities.
Echocardiography is commonly used to evaluate conditions such as heart failure, heart murmurs, valve disease, cardiomyopathy, and shortness of breath.

Exercise Stress Test
An exercise stress test evaluates how your heart responds to physical activity. While you exercise on a treadmill, your heart rate, blood pressure, symptoms, and electrocardiogram (ECG) are carefully monitored.
Stress testing may be recommended for patients experiencing chest discomfort, shortness of breath, decreased exercise tolerance, or other symptoms that could indicate coronary artery disease.

Nuclear Stress Test
A nuclear stress test evaluates blood flow to the heart muscle at rest and during stress. Specialized imaging can identify areas of reduced blood flow that may be caused by narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries.
The test can be performed using treadmill exercise or medication when a patient is unable to exercise adequately.

Cardiac PET Scan
Cardiac PET imaging is an advanced noninvasive test used to evaluate blood flow to the heart muscle and help detect coronary artery disease.
PET imaging provides high-quality images and can help determine whether areas of the heart are receiving adequate blood supply. It may be particularly useful for patients who require advanced evaluation for suspected or known coronary artery disease.

Holter & Event Monitoring
Holter and event monitors continuously record your heart’s electrical activity during normal daily activities.
These monitors can help identify intermittent abnormal heart rhythms that may not appear during a standard office ECG. Monitoring may be recommended for symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, fainting, or unexplained rapid or slow heartbeats.

Carotid Ultrasound
Carotid ultrasound is a painless, noninvasive examination that uses ultrasound to evaluate blood flow through the carotid arteries in the neck.
The test can identify narrowing or plaque buildup in these arteries and may be recommended for patients with certain cardiovascular risk factors or a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA).

Pacemaker & ICD Monitoring and Programming
Premier Cardiology Care provides monitoring, interrogation, and programming of implanted cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
Regular device evaluations help ensure that your pacemaker or ICD is functioning properly, evaluate battery status and lead performance, and identify important heart rhythm events.
